Share folder between two Linux servers

I am using Centos 5.6 for this

In my example I have servers called BIworkstation (A) & BImysql_64 (B)

Server A will share the folder, server B will mount the folder

Server A folder /mnt/ExportFiles

Server B folder /mnt/ImportFiles

Server A

yum install nfs-server

mkdir /mnt/ExportFiles

vi /etc/exports

Add the following line (this will allow read / qrite – ro will allow read only)

/mnt/ExportFiles                                       bimysql_64(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)

service nfs start

Server B

mkdir /mnt/ImportFiles

mount biworkstation:/mnt/ExportFiles /mnt/ImportFiles

To make this permanent

vi /etc/fstab

Add this line

biworkstation:/mnt/ExportFiles /mnt/ImportFiles nfs
